Another successful project required us to convert a legacy Visual Basic/JET application to a scalable, web-enabled architecture. We developed custom programs to convert the screens directly from Visual Basic to Java, then refactored the system into a scalable n-tier design based on SQL Server.

Yes. We can meet with you and outline a scope for the project, develop detailed analysis and designs, and build and test the complete system.

We want to 'web-enable' an existing (VB, Access, RPG) program. Can you do that?

Yes. There are multiple choices for how to go about doing that, and it depends on what you mean by 'web-enable'. If you simply want your users to be able to access the system from off-site, there may be a simple way (eg, a database proxy). If at all possible you always want to leverage an existing, proven system rather than throwing it out and starting over. However, it is sometimes not possible to achieve this capability by anything other than a complete rewrite. We will analyze your requirements and present all available options for you to make an informed decision.

Can you build us an ecommerce website?

Sure. But are you certain you really need something custom? There are many services that you can subscribe to that allow you to have a near instant ecommerce solution, including inventory, shopping cart, and payment processing. Why start from scratch when you can take advantage of an existing services and be up and running today? If however you have your own ecommerce solution, and need some help with interfacing to your accounting system, or for payment processing, or what have you, then yes, definitely call us.

I want a website for my (business, school, church group). Can you do that?

We have programming expertise, but not graphic arts, so we generally don't build websites for our clients unless it integrates with a custom database solution that we're contracted to build. With that stated, we actually have built several websites, including the one you're looking at right now.
